The world’s largest reclining Buddha.

This reclining Buddha impresses through its size, and not only from outside, but also from inside. Inside, there are 3 floors with innumerable rooms, each one with a scene of Buddha´s life. Many of them are still not finished, but worked out by artists. And vis-a-vis, on the opposite slope, they have started another reclining Buddha, even bigger, designated for 8 floors inside.

Kyaiktiyo Pagoda Golden Rock

This is respected and revered by all Buddhists in Myanmar. The rock balances over the edge of a cliff on a mountain and it is believed that a single strand of Buddha’s hair has prevented this rock from falling. Many people have the opportunity to see it gently rock, but no matter cyclone or earthquake, it has not toppled. You can go up by vehicle and elders too can reach this point.
